ABOUT THE SHOW
A stellar cast will present the work of a local songwriter whose witty and toe-tapping songs are long overdue for a showcase. As heartbreaking as it is hilarious, "The Music of Paul James Frantz" presents brilliant songs of social commentary celebrating, laughing at, and crying about the human experience. Featured favorites will include his most-requested "Mojito," the IT-themed "Your Call's Important to Us," and the infamous "Dancing with the Angels."
Carrie Madsen (AEA, SAG-AFTRA, Titan and Ginny Award), Jacqueline De Muro (Theatre Bay Area Award), Paul Araquistain (Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle), and newcomer Donald Martin will join Portland-based pianist, Stephanie Lyne Smith, and the composer himself for the premiere we've all been waiting for....The Music of Paul James Frantz!
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby).
The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own adult beverage with no additional corkage fee. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-654-3808. Thank you for your support!
