Tom's Open Mic and Sing-a-long!
On the day after voting in our historic midterms we're all going to need to express what we're feeling, and to that end comes TOM: Tom’s Open Mic!
An unstructured and experiential open mic and/or sing-along hosted by singer/pianist Tom Shaw who is famous for creating a safe, fun, informal, inclusive and non-judgmental alcohol-free piano bar environment. Any and all voices are welcome. Experience not required! Come sing, try out your comedy, perform spoken word, or just sit back and enjoy the show.
Wednesday, November 7, 6:30-9:30pm, 414 Mason Street, Suite 702. Suggested donation: $15. Doors open at 6:30. Seating is limited. Bottled water and snacks will be available for purchase.
Tom Shaw has been a full-time singer-pianist in San Francisco for over 35 years. He - with or without his trio (Tom Shaw Trio) - has accompanied dozens of San Francisco singers and performs frequently at Martuni’s, Oasis, Feinstein’s and Society Cabaret, and frequently performed at the Rrazz Room in San Francisco and the piano bar at the r3 Hotel in Guerneville, CA. Tom can also be seen onstage every December at the Victoria Theatre leading audience sing-alongs during the run of The Golden Girls. He is also a songwriter and an award-winning film composer.
